After-School All-Stars will kickoff its STEM CampUs program today, sponsored by Teza Technologies. Taking place at the University of Chicago, the camp will allow students to meet with admissions officers, participate in mock college applications and interviews, learn about financial aid, career planning and resume writing – and even a STEM “Shark Tank” style business competition. Students will also take part in STEM career panels.
STEM CampUs beings Monday, and concludes on Wednesday, July 29th. The camp will help 9th grade students in need of an extra push with a full immersion at the University, which includes staying over in the dorms.
